After a historic year serving as the 2023 Wanda Diamond League Final, The Prefontaine Classic returns to Hayward Field on May 25. The meet will feature 14 Diamond Disciplines, which count toward athletes’ points qualification for the 2024 Wanda Diamond League Final to be held in Brussels, Belgium in September. The 2023 Prefontaine Classic was dubbed the greatest professional track & field meet in history by World Athletics, ranked No. 1 in Participant Scores, Results Scores and Competition Scores.
