 – NBC Sports Northwest – The Official Network of the PORTLAND TRAIL BLAZERS – has announced its upcoming 2020 NBA Draft coverage details, featuring four-straight hours of live draft night coverage on Wednesday, November 18, along with extensive daily digital Trail Blazers draft content offerings via the NEW NBCSportsNorthwest.com and the “MyTeams by NBC Sports” app, plus - draft-focused preview/recap episodes of the popular “Talkin’ Blazers” podcast beginning this week. TRAIL BLAZERS/2020 “NBA DRAFT NIGHT” COVERAGE (Wednesday, November 18)

NBC Sports Northwest will have all the excitement of 2020 NBA Draft Night fully covered with FOUR-STRAIGHT HOURS of LIVE coverage beginning at 3:00 p.m. PT.  Featuring a roster of Blazers personalities in a pair of back-to-back specials, fans will be treated to in-depth draft night discussion with predictions, analysis, and a thorough breakdown of every draft pick around the league.  In addition to the linear TV airings, NBC Sports Northwest’s draft night specials will also be live streamed to authenticated network subscribers at NBCSports.com/Northwest/Stream and the “MyTeams by NBC Sports” app.  Draft Night program details below:

                             

“BLAZERS WARM UP/OUTSIDERS - NBA DRAFT SPECIAL” – (LIVE from 3:00-4:30 p.m.)

Hosted by NBC Sports Northwest’s “Blazers Warm Up” team featuring NBCSNW/Rip City Radio’s Chad Doing and NBC Sports Northwest Blazers “Insider” Dwight Jaynes, plus “Blazers Outsiders” co-hosts Joe Simons and Dan Marang, NBC Sports Northwest Blazers reporter Jamie Hudson and NBCSNW/Rip City Radio’s Brian Noe, the NBA Draft Special will deliver a complete preview of the 2020 Draft featuring in-depth player discussion, analysis on specific Blazers roster needs, first round player predictions from around the league, along with special guest interviews.

 

“TRAIL BLAZERS COURTSIDE” – (LIVE from 4:30-7:00 p.m.)

NBC Sports Northwest will deliver a special, two-and-a-half-hour draft night edition of Trail Blazers Courtside hosted by Blazers game announcers Jordan Kent and Lamar Hurd, along with additional analysis provided by former Blazers guard/current Blazers radio/TV analyst Michael Holton and Blazers radio play-by-play announcer Travis Demers, including special guest appearances throughout the night.  Featuring immediate live reaction/analysis of the Blazers picks, this special edition of Courtside will also showcase draft pick player highlights, a recap of all trades made throughout the evening, along with airing post-draft press conferences featuring Blazers coaches/front office execs.
